Are you leaving WCPS?

**This page applies to both graduating seniors & current employees who are leaving the district.**

Since your WCPS Google account will no longer be active after you leave, it is a good idea for you to make a copy of your files.  We suggest you establish a personal Google account in which to transfer your files to from your WCPS Google account.

If you do not have a personal Google Account already, and do not want to create a new one, you will need to complete this process on a device that you files can be downloaded to; or use a USB thumb-drive.

When you create a Google Transfer, your WCPS Account is transferred directly to your personal Google Account.

When you create a Google Takeout, all your files within your WCPS Google Account are downloaded to your device (or USB thumb drive).

Graduating Seniors Google Account Deactivation:  JUNE 15 of your graduating year.

Departing WCPS Employees Account Deactivation:  June 15 of the current school year.

**If you have a lot of files, a Google Takeout is recommended over a Google Transfer, due to the limited file storage capacity (5gb for free) of personal Google accounts.
